Shri Naresh Yadav, born on 11^th July 1950, the Vice-President of HSS, hails from Bihar and has been an active participant in both social and political spheres since his youth, starting at the age of 20. He holds an M.A. and LLB degree and has served as an Advocate in the District Session Court in Katihar. Additionally, he worked as a Lecturer in Political Science at BM College, Barari, District Katihar.

His involvement in the JP Movement was noteworthy, leading to multiple incarcerations as a defender of democracy. In 1994, Shri Yadav was elected as a member of the Rajya Sabha and has contributed to various All India Committees and Associations. He has served on the National Executive of Yuva Lokdal and participated in Committees of Parliament focusing on Transport and Tourism, Railway, Petitions, and the consultative Committee for the Ministry of Coal.

Shri Yadavji’s very popular words ‘Ujarta Gaon’, ‘Dom Ghuta Sahar’, which means people of the village migrating to city, naturally there are so many villages, without any inhabitant. They are crowding in the cities, but due to lack of proper infrastructure, cities are facing environmental hazards. In this pretext Gandhiji’s Gram Swaraj is so relevant that the people of the villages should find there own livelihood and ways of living.  Therefore we have to make all the villages self-sufficient and self-reliant.

Shri Yadav presently holds the position of President at Sarvodaya Ashram Gandhi Ghar in Kursela, Katihar (Bihar), Kursela Gandhi Ghar was in very neglected situation when he became President of the same it is transformed in to a beautiful Ashram. He is an Executive Committee Member of ABRS. He is a distinguished figure in the realm of social work.
