Ba Ki Rasoi has served as a community kitchen since the establishment of the Ashram in 1932. It provides meals to the students of Thakkar Baba Residential Primary Hostel and School on a daily basis. Food is served in the dining room in a traditional manner without any discrimination.Occasionally, the kitchen serves as a platform for organizations working towards the upliftment of the people.

Harijan Sevak Sangh initiated a unique programme, Community Kitchen, ‘BA KI RASOI’ in its Campus at Kingsway, Delhi from 8^th June 2021 to 2^nd October 2021 total 114 days in association with, Delhi State HSS and National Youth Project (NYP) which served more than 200/250 helpless and needy people each day who were mostly daily wage earners and lost their jobs in the outburst of Pandemic COVID-19.

Moreover Delhi HSS and some other State Branches also distributed Ration Kit, Medicines, Sanitizers, Dress Materials and other essential commodities and ran the Community Kitchen, to the need based people.
